Season Ticket Contest

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

  • Sponsor: This contest is sponsored by Cache Valley Center for the Arts. All proceeds directly benefit the Cache Valley Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Logan, Utah.

  • Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of Utah who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Contest Period: The contest begins on 5/25/2026 and ends on 6/15/2026.

  • How to Enter: To enter, participants must make a donation of $10.00 or more to the Sponsor benefiting the Cache Valley Center for the Arts and submit an original essay of 50 words or less responding to the prompt: "Why does the Ellen Eccles Theatre matter to you?" Limit one entry per person.

  • Winner Selection & Judging: This is a contest of skill. Chance plays no part in the determination of the winner. All eligible entries will be judged by a panel selected by the Sponsor based on the following objective criteria: (a) Originality and Creativity (50%) and (b) Expression of Passion for the Performing Arts (50%). In the event of a tie, the entry submitted earliest in time will be declared the winner.

  • Prize & Approximate Retail Value (ARV): One (1) Grand Prize consisting of two full season tickets to Ellen Eccles Theatre's upcoming national touring season. The ARV of the prize is $2,200. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash substitutions are allowed.

  • Winner Notification and Claim Period: The winner will be notified via email or phone within 5 days of the contest closing. In compliance with Utah consumer guidelines, the winner must claim their prize within thirty (30) days of notification, or the prize will be awarded to the runner-up entry.

  • General Conditions: By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters. The organization reserves the right to disqualify any entry that contains inappropriate language, plagiarism, or violates the spirit of the contest.
